About this event

Today is International Women’s Day.  Women sometimes struggle to get the right care. Often their pain and symptoms are not taken seriously, or they are not listened to by staff. This needs to change so please tell us your story so we can work with the NHS and Government to improve services.  Click here: https://bit.ly/3Mx1BtF

This year’s theme is break the bias

Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.  Are you in? Will you actively call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time you see it?  Will you help break the bias?  Cross your arms to show solidarity.

Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.

We can break the bias in our communities.

We can break the bias in our workplaces.

We can break the bias in our schools, colleges and universities.

Together, we can all break the bias – on International Women’s Day and beyond.
